Long Cool Woman

This is the last set from our recent photo shoot in the Santa Rita mountains. Jen loves this dress, so she made sure we used it in a couple of different galleries.

It took longer than expected to find this spot, so we were in a rush to start shooting before we lost the light. Jen was hurriedly changing into her outfit and getting ready, while I scouted around for the best place to start. Between the delay in getting to our spot, and the scramble to not lose the light, I was afraid that all of the stress might ruin the excitement and spontaneity of the moment. But not our Jen. The second she stepped into my frame, all of the previous tension and urgency just melted away… and that beautiful smile came out like the sun from behind the clouds. I am always amazed at how natural and relaxed my normally shy and self-conscious Jen becomes when she’s taking her clothes off for the camera. You can tell just by the pictures that she loves playing and enjoying all of the attention. All I have to do is keep shooting while she has her fun.
