I haven't posted anything in a while so I had some time to take some pictures...

This was the second attempt at taking pictures of myself this way. I put the camera on a tripod, connected it to a computer, ran some remote software, carefully positioned the mouse over the graphical shutter release, and used the right mouse button in my hand as a remote shutter release.

Tried something different. This actually turned out rather well and I tried it again with some better luck with the auto-focus.
