Spreading for your pleasure

In western myth, the Mexican Blackbird is a series of broken trails that outlaws could take to “get down under” into Mexico, where the law couldn’t follow them.

This old story resonates with me, because I’ve spent a great deal of my life in this sleepy little Mexican fishing village on the Sea of Cortez. As a youth, we made a game of cat-and-mouse with the local constable; racing our dirt bikes into the mountains and over trails no wider than your hand in places. It was great fun, and the upshot is that I know every every backroad, trail, and Billy Goat path within 50 miles of our little town.

These are from 2 years back. We were at Bayfield with our kayaks. Wife posts of course.
